We are currently in Idaho camping next to the Couer d'lene Lake. The campground is run by the federal government and is called Bell Bay. Our campsite sits just above the shoreline amid many pine trees. The lake itself is 25 miles long and ranges from 1 to 3 miles wide. We saw a deer as we entered the campground, but they also said there are moose and bear in the area. We are here for 2 days. There are no water or electrical hookups, so we will need to conserve a little.

| When we first arrived there appeared to be a forest fire across the lake. After a few hours the smoke disappeared. |
