Mount Denali

We left Denali National Park this morning and drove 90 miles south to K'esugi Ken Campground in the Denali State Park.  To our amazement, we were able to see the highest peak in North America, Mount Denali.  It rose 20,310 feet above sea level and extended into the blue sky.  It is rare to be able to see the whole mountain, since it has its own weather pattern and normally has its peak in the clouds.  These pictures are of the mountain from various points along the highway.

This picture is taken from the K'esugi Ken campground where we are presently camping.  Very nice backyard we have 😉
